INSPIRE – Modular Welding Inspector Training
for Hydrogen and a Greener Europe

INSPIRE – Modularization of the Welding Inspector Profile to respond to the needs emerging from hydrogen programmes towards a greener Europe – is delivering a set of innovative results that aim to modernise vocational education and training (VET) for welding inspectors, with a particular focus on hydrogen (H₂) pipeline infrastructure.

Work Package 2:
Needs analysis validation

The partnership conducted a European-wide needs analysis to identify the skills gaps in welding inspection related to hydrogen technologies. The findings provide the basis for the development of new competence units and training content, aligned with current and future labour market demands and green transition priorities.
